India

India india india !!! I didn't want to come and I was not interested at all by this country that I was jugging without knowing it. during my South American trip, I met especially two great persons that told me about India and they made me change my mind on the fact that I should try before jugging and as I was going to south east Asia from Europe, it was on my way there.
So I booked my flight direction Delhi.. I arrived in Delhi really early, around 6am. did my check in and went straight away on the street and my first experience was full. I was staying in a local area, not the posh vibes at all. the first glimpse of this experience was the noise , people are communicating on honking to each others when came the smell... Melange of farm , Curry, bins that are everywhere on the street.. street that was all muddy from the rain the previous day. for me It was leaving my comfort zone even if I am already a bit though. I was looking like an ovine in this world as people stop to look at me and at my tattoos or stopping me to take pictures with them.. at first I was saying no because it was really weird for me.
days passed and after visiting and walking in Delhi in slum, market, posh area also taking a good idea of this city & enjoying real Indian gastronomy, it was time to move to the most beautiful wonder create by human , the Taj Mahal..
Agra is a vibes, the main part of Agra is only tuktuk , no cars allowed. I stayed in a hostel , two walking minutes from the Taj Mahal. I stayed 3 nights in Agra, I went twice to see this beauty. impressive , just speechless when I was front of. early morning for sunrise pics its the best time to visit it and take pictures.
Jaipur, the Pink City of India, lot of things to do in this city, the wind palace, monkeys temple and more, there is few rooftop front of the wind palace, its a plus for sunset and golden hours, just be careful of the friendly monkeys. I stayed in blue beds hostel, it was really nice .
Then Mumbai to finish, it is actually my last day today in India. Mumbai is huge city, more you go south more you will see better infrastructure and money there luxury hotels are, north you can find the largest slum in Asia where slumdog millionaire was filmed . Mumbai is great for street photography. I met a fantastic young photographer , we spend all afternoon together and he explain me is life and culture and it will remains one of my best moment of India..
India, great food , I didn't get the famous Delhi-beli, amazing landscapes, lot of peoples and lot of animals everywhere, its a bit like Narnia's world and yes it is really dirty except South Mumbai where it was kind of clean, great rail system, great service in general.. the smell of curry or spices everywhere is something that I used too.. but the most important things or moment, It was peoples.. the kindness of the peoples are really interacted with, was priceless and at the end this the moment that you remember the most.
I don’t know if I will have the opportunity to come back in India, but I definitely recommended it..

Argentina

Food , Landscape, Football…

I started with the city of Salta, north of the country. It felt like a relief to be honest, I am talking about food wise. I really enjoyed this city as a first step for 4 nights. after renting a car with Fit car rental , direction Cafayate, nice ride, nice small village with wine shop and plenty of vineyards . I didn't have any issue with Fit Car rental but some peoples had some.
lets continue with some vineyard in Mendoza area in San Rafael city, if you have some booking with vineyards it worth it, if not you can avoid it but Mendoza city, it was my favourite city in Argentina for the food, the vibes and Peoples.
Iguazu falls, you have two side Brazilian and Argentinian side. I started in Brazil where it is really impressive because you are under it, think to take a Pancho , you can see some monkeys around and the day after direction the other side where you can see the waterfalls from the top, you will be more dry . I stayed 2 nights, I wish I stayed 3 or 4 nights in total. You can visit Picaflores garden if you like birds photography.

Patagonia...
So much to say but when you are there, you stay speechless. From Bariloche, El Cafayate, road of seven lakes, San Martin de los andes, Pert Moreno Glacier .. you definitely need to rent a car there.. you will enjoy fresh air, landscapes. expect to pay a bit more than the rest of Argentina.
Puerto Madryn
the whales paradise, I went there end of October so end of the whales season but I was lucky to see two of them but beginning of season was hundreds of them apparently . definitely worth it.

Buenos Aires
this city is huge so you need to choose wisely the area where you want to stay. I stayed in Palermo soho, it was really safe area. there is plenty to visit and to enjoy in BA, food, nightlife, exposition...

Food: red meat are incredible, dulce de leche ice cream
you can find street art about Maradona and Messi everywhere...

La Paz / Cochabamba

I Spent 14 days in La Paz, this city is beautifully chaotic. I really like it. I stayed so long for two reason , street photography and the infamous Turista haha. Yes I was sick for 5 days from food poisoning. I enjoyed this busy city but be prepared to have legs pain as all the streets are going up or down. La Paz for street photography is amazing , the streets and peoples have so much charisma.

Cochabamba it was a stop to go to Torotoro to have the chance to see some Dinosaurs prints. After 4h with local mini bus ( collectivo ) I arrived in this little village of Torotoro, the road to come are okay , not the best but not terrible nether. To see dino prints I took a guide and we went to see it with moto taxi. It was really nice and fast to go there. Prints are incredible and well preserved.

I went back to Cochabamba for two days and Next Sucre then Salar d’Uyuni….

Puno (Peru) & Copacabana (Bolivia)

I spent one night in Puno too short, because of late bus, I arrived with a delay of 4 hours, I arrived just on time to fly my drone and 1h later was dark. I stayed on Uros floating island in the lodge lover. I had a double room , bed were really comfy and warm.. outside was -2°c and no heater in a room. it is an experience, I wish I could stayed 1 night more.
Depart at 7am to Copacabana , my first city in Bolivia.... How can I say .. just skip it.. Isla del sol is nice but no point to spend a night there.. it is a waste of time and money.. I stayed in hotel Kusi, run away from this scam.. Everything is wrong there.. only good point, the sunset and the little food stand n°20, fresh fish are amazing and cheap...
next La Paz, Bolivia

Cusco & Sacred Valley

1 week in this area of Peru, Cusco is authentic but so touristy as well. I spent 8 days in Cusco including 1 night in Aguas calientes ( Machu Picchu pueblo ). the city is kind of small but great atmosphere , full or restaurants, hostels, bars, tourism office. from cusco I was able to purchase a ticket for 130 soles that give you access to lot of activities and excursion. one excursion is around 70 soles so its worth it as you have 14 different entries. Around Cusco , you can enjoy lot of activities, of course the legendary Machu Picchu but also Palcoyo mountain ( worth it 200% ), Saqsayhuman ( sexywoman), Pisac, Ollantaytambo... Machu picchu is just Wow, breathtaking view and what a feeling when you are front of, you can feel the energy.. Inca protect Machu Picchu to hide their Inca trail that lead to Machu Picchu but start in Ollantaytambo.. Spanish were thinking it was only a huge forest but actually didn't see the trail...
I stayed in hostel called Kokopelli hostel, comfy, great staff, great food, party, good location
next direction Puno & first city in Bolivia , Copacabana...

Arequipa & Colca Canyon

I stayed 6 days/5 nights in this beautiful white city, made from volcanic rocks. you have a good mite between local and tourist in Arequipa. I stayed in Way kap Hostel, not too far from Plaza de Armas, it is the main square. It was a nice hostel, clean and friendly staff. The city is not that huge but still big if you are walking only. I started my trip; finding myself going to fix my glasses for my view, I went Optical Tolentino, they were really nice and not expensive for 2 pairs of glasses. I did a full day tour for Colca canyon, It was long drive but worth it , landscape are breathtaking , you can see condors in their natural habitat, llama , alpaca.. back to the city, I enjoyed taking some street photography day and by golden or blue hour. 4 or 5 days it is perfect to acclimate yourself with the altitude as the city is already at 2335m . I did some aerial shots to admire the city and some volcanos around it..

Next step Cusco & Machu Picchu

Paracas & Huacachina oasis

Lets start with Paracas, It is a fisherman little town but there is plenty stuff to do and see. first day it was easy going for me, I went to enjoy a log walk from Paracas town to Flamingo Paracas . As you it say, there is Flamingo. it is a beach that you can see them in their natural habitat.
the second day in a Morning went to do a boat tour, touristy but amazing, Jose the guide was wonderful, I could stand at the front all the tour to take my pictures, Paracas national reserve coasts are amazing for wildlife. Seals, Penguins, Pelican, Dolphins, and tones of birds.
The same day but in afternoon , I rented a scooter to go to the national park. It was fun even if the road are so so for motorcycle, But I was able to enjoy my time there at my convenience, stop where I wanted and when I wanted. Amazing landscapes, great food but expensive as you don't really have choice if you want to eat or buy water.
Evening time in Paracas town is nice but really tourist focus. you can catch amazing sunsets and eat some fresh fishes.

Huacachina Oasis, situated at 10min from Ica city.
This little Oasis town is just something different , I spent two nights there as in Paracas. Night life are really fun in Huacachina, there is plenty of Hostels that are doing parties especially the wild rover, but thanks god I didn't stay there to sleep hahaha..
I stayed in Banana’s adventures, amazing hostel, comfy, great staff, great food and normal Peru prices. I want to do some buggy and sandboarding with them. It was really fun time and come back for the Sunset on the top of the dunes over the Oasis... The sunset was so impressive that I went back on the same dune... the sunset are to die for
What make this experience special was also the people I could met there. Elias and Victor, two Swedish boys, really funny and good vibes.. we spent some times together and we met again after in Arequipa...the next town..

Two nights in Paracas is the way to go in my opinion but not more and Huacachina 2 days maximum , as it is really fun during evenings but during the day there not really to do as Ica the big city next to it is not really interesting but don't skip one of them.
Now 11h on night bus going to Arequipa…

Lima ( Peru )

What a city

24th of August my world trip, StartStarting by Lima, what a chaotic start when you arrive in a airport, the traffic in Lima is insane and insanely dangerous. This city its busy, if you think that Paris is busy with 2M try Lima with 11M.
I stayed in Miraflores district next to Parque Kennedy, it was touristy but safe. I stayed with locals, Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro is the safest district for tourist as they told me.
Lima is all about huge black cliff, Great Food, Funny people, but it is also really noisy and really polluted as you can imagine. It is also all the time grey during the winter, I didn't have the time to see the sun, but I heard that during summer, sunset is to die for.
Local bring me to more popular district where you can't see any tourist around but it is so busy that no one notice you at least if you are like me 1m91 or 6.3ft. In this area I was able to try some local food, Lomo Saltado, Anticucho for example. I also went inside the only Favelas of Lima for les than 30min and of course still with a local but couldn't take any pics for obvious reasons..
this huge black cliff is so impressive and it is along to coast of the entire city, protect them also from Tsunami as your can see adverts along the beach.
Thank you for Kristel to show me around and Victor for is advice…
After 5 days in this crazy city, Next step Paracas after 4h by bus, Cruz del Sur company.
